Carole Holyan, Managing Partner

  

Carole currently resides in Coyote Canyon, NM. Carole holds an undergraduate degree in Communications and Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Adult Education/eLearning. In previous employment Carole has extensive work experience in the gaming industry, media and marketing relations. Carole also has expertise in process and performance improvement and is certified Training with in Industry (TWI) trainer along with Six Sigma and LEAN experience/certification. Carole has a wide wealth of experience and knowledge from working with Native American tribes in addition to experience while understanding corporate companies as she was previously employment with Raytheon Missile Systems.

Carole also has extensive experience in public relations, serving as a spokesperson for former Navajo Nation Chairman Peter McDonald, and as the Director of Public Relations for the late Mary Thomas, former Governor of the Gila River Indian Community. She is the first and only woman to serve on the Indian National Finals Rodeo Commission. She currently serves as Vice President of the INFR Board.

Deana Jackson, Managing Partner

  

Deana has close to 30 years of professional experience in broadcasting, news reporting, public relations and marketing, events management and organizational and special events consultant. She was one of the original broadcasters hired upon the opening of KTNN Radio Station enterprises, where she worked as a radio broadcaster, news anchor, sales representative and promotions director.

She also has extensive public relations and spokesperson experiences as the former Communications director for Navajo Nation President Joe Shirley Jr., public relations work with other Navajo leadership, Deana also has served as manager of the Navajo Nation Fair, the largest Native American fair event in North America. Her public relations work includes consultation to the Gila River Casino, the Indian National Finals Rodeo, as the Marketing & Public Relations Manager for the XIX Olympic Winter Games

– Discover Navajo: People of the Fourth World, an official event of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and as a Marketing and Communications Consultant for the 2006 North American Indigenous Games in Denver, Colorado, a multi-sport event involving indigenous North American Athletes. Deana has also worked with the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation as a Native American Marketing Director for the Radisson at Fort McDowell.

Most recently she served as a public relations consultant for Ernie Stevens, Jr., Chairman of the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) and currently advises NIGA in event management and public relations issues. She has also worked with other prestigious events such as the VIP Tailgate Party at the 2008 Native American Village at Super Bowl XLII, the Native American Basketball Invitational (NABI) “Chasing the Sun” 10K & Health Fair, and The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development's 2011 and 2012 Reservation Economic Summit (RES Vegas) and the historic 2015 White House Tribal Youth Gathering in Washington, DC.

She serves on the Board of Directors for the American Indian Cancer Foundation.

Shawna Benally, Event Specialist

  

Shawna is an accomplished professional coming from the corporate workforce, working within Fortune 500 Companies, small businesses/start-ups and nonprofits. Shawna has worked with large corporations such as Insight, Google, and Intel. Assisted with organizing and managing aspects of Festivals and is a team lead that works closely with Super Bowl field coordinators for on field events and elements.  Shawna obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University.

Shawna has over 10 years of experience planning events for corporate and non-profit sector including meetings/conferences, galas, trade shows golf tournaments and festivals engaging in the upwards of 3,000 + people. Her background in the technology business world, and nonprofit sector give her valuable insight in planning events specifically tailored to a wide variety of needs.

Shawna continually strives to create just the right environment for a client’s event. She is a dedicated team member who is not afraid to put in the extra time to make a client’s event run smoothly from start to finish.
